Carters Rest Guesthouse and Self Catering which was awarded a 4 star rating by The Scottish Tourist Board is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of Skye. The property looks out over the harbour to Loch Pooltiel and The Little Minch to the island of Harris.

All rooms are ensuite and our master bedroom is rated 5 star.

The dining room where breakfast and dinner is served is situated in the sun lounge offering phenominal views across the bay.

The well equipped guests lounge, warmed by a wood burning stove has a laptop with free internet access,television, DVD player, phone, a good selection of maps and books of the area and a well equipped games room with pool, darts etc.

We are only 5 minutes from the famous Neist Point Lighthouse which has an abundance of wildlife(minke whales and basking sharks and birds of prey)

All rooms are ensuite with power showers. Master bedroom has jacuzzi. Each room has a radio, flat screened television, tea making facilities, iron & ironing board, hairdryer, torch and alarm clock.Some rooms have a laptop with free internet access.

We do not have a restaurant open to the public, but we do serve a 3 course evening meal with coffee & shortbread in our dining room.
We also provide free leisure equipment i.e. electric scooters, bikes, fishing tackle, french boules, kites, binoculars, maps, cool box and flasks.

Attractions

The world famous Three Chimneys Restaurant. Neistpoint Lighthouse, Dunvegan Castle, Coral Beach, Cliffs of Moonanbay. We are only a short drive from The Cuillin Mountains.

Guesthouse:- From £30 to £50 for bed & breakfast. Dinner £12 for 3 course meal.
Self Catering:- From £200 to £320 per week
