Visiting Britain, we are in a fantastic position for you to start your exploration! Heathrow Airport, Bristol Airport and Southampton Airport around one hour easy drive away! As we are only 4 miles from the M4 motorway and 8 miles from the A34.

This brings you into a wonderful historic area but, also into easy reach of many places that are a must to visit! London is 1hr on the train from our local mainline station! You are within an hours drive of Oxford: Blenheim Palace, Bath: Roman Baths, Salisbury: Its Magnificent Cathedral and Stonehenge, Bristol: Isambard Kingdom Brunnels' Suspension Bridge and Ashton Court, Winchester: Its Cathedral, The Cotswolds: quaint villages, Windsor: Windsor Castle and Legoland, Portsmouth: The Mary Rose Tudor Battle ship and more!

If you would like to travel a little further, Shakespeare's Stratford-Upon-Avon can easily be visited in a day taking in other places at the same time! We are very happy to help with maps, route suggestions and itineraries if you would like.

Curers Cottage is full of old world cottage charm, low beams and sloping ceilings, wood burning stove in the winter. Attached to a row of thatched cottages. Come and stay with us, in our quaint family home, for a feel of life in an English village. We will make you feel very welcome and relaxed.

Our bed and breakfast is small and friendly only having two double rooms but, they have traditional english cottage charm. Both rooms have double beds, couches and pouffes, TVs, Tea/Coffee making facitities, hairdryers. And share between them two separate shower rooms, both with character.

The breakfast room has a fridge, tables and chairs and a couch for your use during your stay. We also have a pretty private garden that you are welcome to sit in or sunbathe in our sunken patio.

Attractions

Chilton Foliat is a beautiful historic village, with a lovely old church, many thatched buildings including The Wheatsheaf Pub which has a wide ranging menu, real ale and great village hospitality. Only a walk away from The Tudor Mansion of Littlecote and its Roman Mosaic, lots of public footpaths that take you through the countryside, or over the river Kennet. Nearby, historic Hungerford or the ancient village of Ramsbury can be reached on foot, by bike or car, with shops, pubs, restaurants and the Kennet and Avon Canal.

Double room £60 a night for two sharing including a full breakfast from our extensive menu.

Double room, but single occupancy £45 a night including breakfast.
