The Howdale is superbly situated on the North Cliff of Scarborough, enjoying magnificent panoramic views of the North Bay and Castle and yet central for Scarborough's many attractions, being only 5 minutes away from the beach and Peasholm Park.

Each of our pleasant bedrooms has a colour TV, hairdryer, clock radio, hospitality tray and a selection of complimentary toiletries.

We are centrally heated and double glazed throughout and most of our bedrooms are ensuite. Many rooms have sea views.

We offer a high standard of traditional home cooking with a wide choice of breakfast. We're well known for our large English breakfasts - a good start to your day. Breakfast is served from 8.30am to 9.00am in our beautiful sea view dining room.

We have our own private car park and guests are given keys for access to their rooms at all times.

Attractions

Scarborough is Yorkshire’s premier holiday location with two magnificent bays, the castle headland, various museums, traditional holiday arcades and attractions. There is a good selection of high street stores as well as an abundance of specialist shops for those wishing to browse.

Explore the surrounding countryside, visit the North York Moors National Park with its attractive villages and steam railway or spend a day in Whitby, Filey, Bridlington or York – all within easy reach.

We're open from March to October. Prices are from £25 per person per night for bed and breakfast.
