Kenilworth is a grand 4 star (Visit Britain) Victorian Guest House centrally located in the town of Windermere, a short walk from the local shops, cafes and restaurants - and ideal base for your stay in the Lake District.

All rooms are centrally heated and fully double glazed, and all bedrooms are en-suite (with shower, rather than bath). We offer king-size double, doubles, twin, family and single rooms.

Our hearty breakfasts include locally made Cumberland sausage and free-range eggs delivered from the local farm, with vegetarian or lighter alternatives. We have a spacious guests' lounge with maps and guides to the area. We have some private parking and there is free parking on Holly Road.

Kenilworth is a grand Victorian Guest House, retaining many period features.
All bedrooms are en-suite (shower, toilet and washbasin), and have thermostatically controlled radiators, and are fully double-glazed. We offer king-size double, double, twin, family and single bedrooms. All bedrooms have digital colour tv,(with DAB radio), hairdryer, towels, refreshment tray, alarm clock and wineglasses. The single room also has a DVD player.
For everyone's comfort and safety, we are completely non-smoking.

There is a spacious groung floor guests' lounge, with books, maps and information on things to do and see. We are happy to help plan your day! There is also a colour digital tv and DVD player.

Kenilworth is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful corner of England, with or without your own transport.
There are walks to suit all ages and abilities, boat rides on many of the lakes, steam trains, galleries, theaters, cinemas and museums. Beatrix Potter's house, Hill Top, and the Beatrix Potter Attraction are close by.
Windermere Station is 6-7 minutes' walk / short taxi ride, from Kenilworth Guest House.

Prices range from £30 to £38 per person per night for bed and breakfast accommodation, normal room occupancy.

On arrival in Windermere, whether in the car or on foot, proceed through the town centre one-way system.
